Meet Jamie Reidy
James (Jamie) is the Managing Partner and Founder of Navis Benefits Group, LLC. Prior to founding Navis Benefits Group, Jamie worked an impressive 25 years for Unum, a leading provider of disability benefits, voluntary worksite benefits, and group long-term care. While at Unum, Jamie achieved two of the highly sought-after specialty designations: Executive Benefit Specialist and Large Employer Voluntary Worksite Specialist. In addition, Jamie was a top writer of Unum’s Group Long-Term product. As a Specialist, Jamie partnered with Employee Benefit Firms in the Northeast market, and employers across the country in all size segments, including Fortune 500 Companies, Top 100 AM Law Firms, Financial Institutions, and well-known Healthcare Organizations, to design, negotiate, install, and administer specialty benefit programs.
Jamie attended The College of the Holy Cross, in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
Jamie was born and raised in the central Massachusetts area, in a family of eight. He attended St. John’s High School (Shrewsbury), and The College of the Holy Cross (Worcester, Massachusetts) where he met his beautiful wife, Christina. Jamie and Christina are very proud parents of three very active boys, who play year-round travel hockey and travel lacrosse. When Jamie and his family are not in the hockey rink or on a field, they spend their free time water-skiing, sailing, scuba diving, biking, relaxing at the lake, fishing, and traveling. Their favorite places to visit include “the lake”, Block Island (RI), and Hawaii.
