Executive Disability Insurance helps employers attract top Executive talent and meet the income protection requirements often outlined in an Executive Employment or Partnership Agreement. Group Long Term Disability (LTD) Insurance provides a good foundation for protecting incomes. However, Group LTD often leaves Executives and Partners significantly under-insured due to LTD benefit maximums, taxability of benefits, and bonus compensation or K-1 income not being covered. Executive Disability Insurance better protects the incomes of highly compensated Executives, by covering what the Group LTD plan does not. Navis will identify any gaps in coverage including uncovered compensation, design an Executive Disability Insurance program to addresses the gaps, and help you meet the requirements as outlined in executive employment or partnership agreements. We understand Executive Disability Insurance and will partner with the leading disability insurance and excess risk providers, to provide a solution that will take your disability income protection program to the next level.

Supplemental Long Term Disability Insurance (DI): Supplemental DI plans help employers strengthen their financial wellness program and differentiate themselves from their peer group. Supplemental DI Programs can be offered on an employer-paid or employee-paid basis. This benefit helps employees protect income often not covered by Group LTD such as bonus, commissions, K-1, or income above the LTD maximum; and can provide up to 80% income replacement. Navis will provide an income replacement gap analysis to illustrate shortfalls in the existing Group LTD program, benchmark the LTD plan to your competition’s plan, present solutions to address shortfalls in income protection levels, market the proposed program to insurance carriers, design the implementation timeline, educate employees, enroll, and service the program.

GLTC can help provide the funds needed to receive quality care at one’s home or in a facility, in the event of a long-term care qualifying event. This coverage gives the insured dignity, independence, and control over who and where care is provided; and is an important asset preservation benefit. Navis helps Employers currently offering GLTC to better administer their existing GLTC program, improve employee enrollment results and employee appreciation, and increase utilization of this unique benefit at time of claim. GLTC is highly regulated, and most state departments of insurance have specific LTC licensing and LTC education requirements a broker/consultant must possess to sell or service GLTC.
